Centre for Meaningful Living

Genuineness | Presence | Empowerment

Welcome, and I mean that.

It takes a lot of courage to even consider reaching out for help, so the fact that you are here speaks volumes. I am a psychologist practicing in the areas of clinical, forensic, and neuropsychology. I assess a wide range of issues, but my treatment services are focused on psychosis, personality disorders, trauma, and behaviours that have led to problems with the law. You can find more information about these areas here, but all these difficulties bring along other types of challenges that I am also experienced in treating, such as relationship problems, emotional distress, aggression, or drug addiction.

mental health

What you will find on my website that is perhaps a little different than other psychology practice websites is that I do not have a list of “common conditions” I have experience treating, and there is a reason for that. It is overwhelming to look through a laundry list of problems to see if your unique issue fits somewhere on that list. The other reason I do not do this is because mental health (and being human) is more complex than this.

mental health matters

I consider the whole person when I am working with someone. In the field of mental health, there tends to be a focus on diagnosis or “problems,” but mental health is so much more than just a checklist of symptoms.

Please explore my website to read more about who I am, what I do, and what I am all about. My services are offered virtually; I can work with you regardless of where you live in Ontario if you have access to the Internet and an electronic device with a webcam. All new clients receive a free 60-minute consultation, which you can book directly through the client portal.
